Tameko M. Purnell is an Associate at The Reaves Law Firm. Her practice focuses on personal injuries as a result of car accidents, slip and falls and on the job injuries.
An honor student and Dean Ambassador at The Mississippi College School of Law, Tameko has clerked for The Mississippi Attorney Generals Office, The Mississippi American Civil Liberties Union, and the City of Memphis where she was instrumental in challenging the confederate soldier statues within public parks in Memphis, Tennessee. Tameko has also studied international business and contract law in China, South Korea, and Lille, France.
Prior to joining the firm, Tameko acted as civil litigation paralegal for several prominent firms in Memphis, drafting complex litigation motions and preparing for commercial trials.
Tameko is licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi.
Tameko likes attending Grizzlies Games and is a huge fan of College football. A former basketball, track runner, high jumper and cheerleader; Tameko is a lover of sports. Tameko was the Valedictorian of her high school class. Tameko is a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters.
