Jennifer Collins graduated from Southaven High School in Mississippi. She subsequently received her undergraduate degree (B.A. in Chemistry) and her juris doctorate from the University of Mississippi. She is licensed as an attorney in Tennessee and Mississippi and is a member of the federal bar eligible to practice in the Western District of Tennessee, the Northern District of Mississippi, the Southern District of Mississippi, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Attorney Collins started her legal career in Tupelo, Mississippi in 2005, and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2009. She has practiced in the following areas of the law: workers’ compensation; plaintiff’s personal injury; and insurance defense litigation. She has also been employed as in-house counsel for a Tennessee school district from 2010 until 2016, where she handled administrative law, special needs law, and the defense of other tort liability claims against the school district. Additionally, Attorney Collins spent a year as a contract paralegal in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee prior to her employment with the Reaves Law Firm in 2018.
Jennifer Collins is an avid reader and writer. She enjoys sewing, singing, and traveling. Jennifer loves hot tea and keeps a corner devoted to an assortment of that beverage in her office.
