Ashley Satterfield is the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer for the Reaves Law Firm. Ashley hails from Washington, DC where she attended the prestigious Sidwell Friends School and first developed her sense of social justice. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School. At Dartmouth, she was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow and was awarded the Mecklin Prize for Innovative Research and the Woodbury Memorial Law Prize. At The University of Chicago Law School, she was a member of the Exoneration Project, a pro bono legal clinic focused on cases involving those wrongfully convicted.
Upon graduation, she began her legal career in the government affairs office of Microsoft before moving to Memphis, Tennessee to join a defense firm. She then spent several years as a trial attorney for a Fortune 100 company.
In her free time, she loves riding her Peloton bike, listening to true crime podcasts, checking out plays at local theaters, and running around town with her young son.
